Marcus Carter
Master’s-Level Therapist in Denver, Colorado
You remember a time when self-worth, balance, and emotional connection came naturally—but those days feel like a distant memory. Maybe you consistently prioritize others' needs over your own, leaving your well-being on the back burner. Don’t you wish you had the tools to change that?
It’s time to bring confidence back into your life.
I’m Marcus (he/him), and I help individuals and couples like you: people who have the strength within to build confidence, set healthy boundaries, and foster fulfilling relationships but just need the support to get there.
With a personable and compassionate approach blended with practical, actionable steps, I guide clients in connecting to their stories to unlock self-worth, balance, and deeper connections in their lives.
I am dedicated to helping people find confidence, balance, and connection in their lives.
As a Master’s-level counselor, I bring professional expertise and a lifelong commitment to personal growth to my work with clients. Wounds can be a powerful opportunity for healing and transformation.
But I know it’s not always easy. I understand how systems and early relationships can be hard to break from because I’ve worked with it personally. Dealing with seeing and experiencing abuse, religious trauma, racial discrimination, and homophobia, my own journey has been a long and difficult one. It has been by the gift of external support, and resilience that I can move forward with freedom, love, and unabashed authenticity. That’s why, when we work together, you’ll not only have a coach and counselor-in-training guiding you but someone who understands in their own way what you’re carrying—and is here to support you in the ways that feel best for you.
I offer therapy sessions for a rate of $45 per 50 minute session. You can email me at marcus@kincounseling.co.
